Grotta dei Dossi, Villanova Mondovi

very nice cave with many different types of stalagmites. the guide was friendly. definitely worth it if you are around. kids are spellbound as well.

The most colorful cave in Italy is accessed from a path dug into the mountain and after a five-minute walk you arrive at the terrace with a breathtaking view of the Langhe. At the entrance, visitors are provided with disposable headphones and a helmet. Discovered by chance, the cave of karst origin has a development of about 1 km. for a depth of 12 meters (at one point 28 meters) the rooms with evocative names such as the baths of Venus, the fireplace of the Bats, the boat of Charon are a succession of nuances that leave the visitor speechless. At the end of the "journey" underground, you are invited to vote for the cribs on display (three). Fantastic! N.B. equipped with service. Reservation recommended

Small cave, in some places the passage is quite narrow. Mandatory helmet. Pretty but I've seen other more beautiful. Inside there was an exhibition of nativity scenes.

Suggestive path that shows the beauty of the cave. The guide who followed us was personable and knowledgeable. I recommend a visit! PS. When we went there was also an exhibition of nativity scenes.

Caves with wonderful cordial and prepared accompanying colors. If I may make a note, in my opinion, a little more lighting would be needed in narrow and low points (occasionally a few little heads banged against the rock but with helmets it was no problem) overall it is worth a visit
