The fort is interesting, the temporary exhibit is pretty. Each room has its own set of explanations. Not sure it is worth a huge detour to visit it, but if you are in the area, it is worth a visit.

Thi is a very big fortress, blocking the France road. Inside you can find an interesting museum on Alps environment, with original multimedia shows. You also see all the internal rooms and gun places.

Amazing fort that was built in the late 800, was famous for the "cannoni installazione a campana " Unique in the Italian forts built in the same period... The fort doesn't has war experience , in fact during the first war all the armaments were transferred to the east front (Friuli, Veneto and Trentino) , used then as a warehouse or troop training ... after which it began a slow decay process due to the fact that modern weapons technology made it no longer useful for war purposes ... abandoned for several years it no longer had adequate maintenance and to today it remains a structure abandoned to itself ... pity

The biggest military fortress within the Alps. Huge and we'll preserved, restorations have been made and the place is amazing. Can go for guided tour or do it yourself thing.
