Castello Del Verme represents everything you saw on Movies and what is related in the history. I didn’t publish all the pictures to not spoil the experience. Virginia took my son and I to a travel in the history and the foundation of the city of Zavattarello. I totally recommend you to visit Castello del Verme. I will take this experience for life.

I am struck by the powerlessness, the solemnity, the emotion that arouses being completely immersed in over a thousand years of history. Forget your princess fantasies, in these castles you'll find shrieking ghosts and footprints made of dust on the swift stairs leading to the tower. “Straight out of a fairy tale” brings to mind images of tiny bridges, flowering hills, enchanted woods and ancient buildings but don't you forget that every fairy tale has a dark side, too …it is said that Pietro Dal Verme (lord of the castle in the fifteenth century), poisoned by his second wife Chiara Sforza on October 17, 1485, is the presence that hovers in the rooms of his ancient manor.

Guide was fantastic! The castle is worth to visit.

Two days ago we had a tour with Julia as our guide. She did great and explained everything (in English). The castello had many, many rooms, and we liked that we went thru it in an relative fast pace. Great visit
