  • What a wonderful market to buy handmade gifts. Such talent from it's vendors!! I had someone to help manage purchases, so I did not need to struggle with the prices. I was lucky to have the help.
  • Here is quite like an open-air African arts museum. I have been living in Abidjan for 3 years, I always want to visit there and always want to buy anything. Very charming. It is just difficult to buy objects in affordable prices. You have to bargain for the objects you want to get. That makes me tired.
  • Good place to buy typical artisans, but if you dont know how to manage the sellers and don't know how to negotiate, could be a bad experience. They harras you, seize your purchased goods and take to other shop to force to visit and ask you extraordinary prices. By rule, offer 1/3 of the asked price and increase maximum to half of price if you are really interested. Be friendly and just manage them to obtain what you want (the good or to escape).
  • Fabric, masks, figurines of wood and stone, some handmade. Each booth is manned by a separate artist or vendor. I think none of them take VISA. Worth an hour or two.
  • A place full of great handcraft, original designs and beautifully made. However you must bargain the prices a lot.
