Winding for 5 km (3 mi) along a collapsed riverbed, the road offers an up-close look at more than 500 different species of fern, which give it its name. Take a leisurely ride along the route to admire an array of hardwood trees and hanging plants, or get even closer to nature by hiking. • Its just a beautiful drive, free to explore if you have a car. Would I pay alot of money to do this? No. If it is included as part of something, yes.

  • I was excited to see this area, as I loved the movie Fern Gully. The natural landscape and variety of plants etc was incredible! There's not a lot of "touristy" things to do, but it's a beautiful...

  • Great drive.. just be careful.
  • Unique scenery. Be sure to drive safely on this winding road paved with both asphalt and concrete, but the surface remains relatively smooth. Also before exiting the fern ensure to stop by the Ready Freddy Corner to see the famous wooden cultures and purchase your gift items.
  • This is a main route from Kingston into Saint Ann, you can call it the rollercoaster road as the many “S” and “C” turns that you'll be making may leave you dizzy, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a “O” in the bidding somewhere but for that you'll have to go all the way to Ochi Rios en route to the Toll. Feen Gully is what you can call a state road, you may find a few local craft and fruits vendors, don't be shy to stop and support them; and yes it's safe. Ensure you're good on petrol as not many stations are on this route, once you leave Monique, you’ll have to wait until you get into Ochi Rios. Safe Travels!
  • cool😎..winding road pleasant drive good road surface with part concrete, part asphalt. drive carefully.
