Take in the unspoiled beauty of Boston Beach. The site gets its name from a time when traders from Boston, Massachusetts, exported bananas from here. The beach offers boogie and surf boards for rent, or bring a chair and set yourself up for a day in front of the blue-green water. The beach does offer restrooms, which are available for a small fee. • Small( ish) pretty sandy beach in a lovely bay. 400 Jamaican $ (about £2) to enter. Pity about the bottles and cans left around, perhaps the entry fee could pay for someone to litter pick? Enjoyed....  more

  • This place can either be really calm waters or really rough big waves depends on the day. Very aggressive locals trying to push surfing lessons on you. But other than that it's a good beach. And they will charge 300 Jamaican dollars to get in.
  • A lot of garbage and brown kelp on the beach made it less pleasant for swimming and sunbathing. However it does have decent (but small) waves if you want to learn to surf (surf school is located right on the beach). Entry fee is $300JMD per person and they have bathrooms and a parking lot
  • 400 entry Lots of trash flowing in but there was a guy cleaning at least The showers were good. The waves were big for those who surf. Not many places to sit
  • Im in love with the white sand, the staff, way they carry to their customer nicely groomed area. Plus the have places to have A drink and a snack. All this next for to one of the best pork centre, Boston Jerk. Family friendly and fun.
  • $400 Jamaican dollars a person to enter, although there's no official sign. The woman charging admission has no uniform or namebadge - is she scamming us? The surfboard rental guys are really aggressive too - "F you, whitey! I'm talking to you man! Why you ignoring me, whitey?" Men offering to sell drugs on the beach. Very, very loud music. Not recommended.
