  • "Island where nature and people coexist" As the name [Island of original scenery] suggests, there are many untouched nature such as bare rocks and sandy beaches along the coastline. It takes about an hour and a half to get on the ferry 🚢 from Unten Port, Nakijin Village, on the main island of Okinawa. In terms of latitude, it is located north of Yoron Island, and the contrast between the emerald green sea inside the reef and the cobalt blue outside the reef is clear and beautiful. Compared to the Kerama Islands, which are accessible from Tomari Port in Naha City, I feel that the fact that they are not specialized in the tourism industry has formed a shape that strongly retains the goodness of the islands. The island stretches from north to south, and people live on the east side of the island, while nature on the west side remains largely untouched. On Iheya Island, there is a saying, [Iheya Jute], and there are many friendly people who never forget the spirit of hospitality. The main sightseeing spots are "Kumaya", which is the southernmost point of Japan, where there is the legend of "Ama no Iwato", and "Ken Hiramatsu". However, there are plenty of coral reefs, making it a fun spot for divers as well. There is no doubt that you can relax and enjoy the rustic atmosphere of the island🤣👍✨.
  • The island is recommended for scuba diving. The problem is that there are no decent hotels. There are only guesthouses and low-cost business hotel-level accommodation options. Compared to Ishigakijima and Miyakojima, there are fewer divers themselves, so overseas resort diving is vacant. The sea and sandy beach are so beautiful that you cannot imagine Japan. Various corals can be seen in the water, and the transparency is over 20m.
  • As for the pumice stone situation, there was a lot of pumice accumulated in the bay around Noho, but there were places where it flowed a lot and I didn't care much. The water was crystal clear
  • Okinawa's northernmost inhabited island "Iheya Island" From Unten Port in Nakijin Village, you can reach Iheya Island in 1 hour and 20 minutes by ferry! Iheya Island is a beautiful emerald sea. There are 200m high mountains in the center of the island. There is also a dam! The entire mountain is covered with wild Kuba trees, and is designated as a prefectural natural monument! Yaheiwa Rock, a rocky mountain 50 meters off the coast ~ Yonezaki Coast with outstanding transparency and a beautiful contrast between the emerald green sea and the pure white sandy beach ~ Kozuiwa Observation Deck where you can look down from the cliffs ~ etc. Full of highlights 🤗 It feels so good to drive 🚗 while driving along the coastline 🤗 ♪ 🔥There is also a campsite~Tents can be rented~ BBQ equipment can be rented~Even if you come empty-handed, you can also camp overnight in nature🤗♪ Ladies and gentlemen, please go to Iheya Island, which has not yet been turned into a tourist spot.
  • The scenery is the best Whether you live in Okinawa or travel, it's a place you should visit at least once!
