Karuizawa prince shopping plaza, Karuizawa-machi

This is one of the largest outlets in Japan and there is a large number of different shops from restaurants, to brand clothing. Unlike many other outlets this outlet has a big lake in the middle and walking around the outlet feels like walking in another town. There is a kids park for kids to play and numerous cafes scattered around the outlet where you can rest and take a brake from shopping. The parking space for vehicles is sufficient for everyone and it is usually never full because of the number of cars it can hold. Definitely stop by if happened to be in Karuizawa.

It’s a beautiful outlet, so different from others we see here in Japan. There’s a lot of options of brands, but the prices it’s not good as the mitsui outlets. Even so, it’s a good place to take a walk, see the nature and the many many cute dogs walking around. There’s also accessibility for disabled people.

A lot of high-end brand names stores here. But very good prices. And if you're visiting here from another country, you'll save more money by showing your passport. 😏 The area is very nice and inviting. Very nice relaxed atmosphere and very clean and well kept. There is also a lot of food places to choose and eat from. From mid to high end and also for a good meal on a budget. 👌 A few steps away from the Karuizawa station. Very convenient. If you end up buying a lot of merchandise and you're wondering about how to get your items back, especially if you're just visiting Karuizawa and your main hotel is in Tokyo for example. I would recommend going to the information building (close to the eatery area) and you can get your items shipped by Yamato transport (black cat🐈‍⬛️) to your hotel for a small price. Excellent idea and it very helpful. One of the largest factory outlet in japan. Easy access from tokyo by shinkansen. Have a lot of shops, you can spend one full day just to see everything. They closed early on winter like at 7 pm. So you better prepare yourself.

There are many stores of various brands, and there are endless stores. There are many parking lots. You can do your homework first, choose the store you want to go to, and then decide where to park. . Remember to ask the store for a voucher for free parking.
