Shop and dine at Naritasan Omote Sando, a 800 m (2,624 ft) stretch of avenue lined with zelkova trees. A shopping complex nearby, built in 2005 under somewhat controversial circumstances, contains 38 apartments and over 130 stores, many specializing in unagi (grilled eel). Stock up on other Japanese treats, including yokan (from sweet bean), rice crackers, sake, and teppozuke (stuffed pickled uri melons). Also termed Tokyo's Champs-Élysées, this strip can get very crowded, especially during holidays. Discover how to plan a Narita trip in just a few steps with Klarna Trips's itinerary builder.

  • Its a good ten minutes ride on the traon from Narita Airport. The path leading to the temple from the station is an old street. Very quaint, charming street lined with shops selling Japanese arts and crafts. You can get plenty of souvenirs. Great place to have lunch at one of the restaurants serving Unagi.
  • This is a great souvenir shop near the Narita temple that specializes only in squishy facial soaps. They have a nice setup where you can smell all the varieties and try them out.
  • nice place to bring some souvenir back home. They also offer discount to crew member if you show your card.
  • The soap is also comfortable to touch, and you will want to touch it all the time. I can't help but be curious about the hankyu dojo inside, and it's always crowded, so I think I'd like to try it once. The building is new and very clean.
  • Here you can try archery, have konjac-like soap, eat freshly baked kakiage, and find traditional Chinese medicine shops. I think it's a place that you can enjoy no matter how many times you go. There are places that look a little like the streets of Kyoto, and you can feel nostalgia. There are many shops along the way, such as dumpling shops, tea shops, and bars, so be sure to stop by when you pass by!
