Create an itinerary including Tokyo Tower
Symbolic of Japan’s economic rebirth after World War II, Tokyo Tower stands proudly at a height of 333 m (1,092.5 ft), defining the Tokyo skyline with its orange and white stripes. This lattice steel tower, modeled on the Eiffel Tower, holds a communications tower and two observation decks. Reach the decks by elevator or by climbing the 600 stairs to take in a view of the city below. Directly beneath the tower, visit the four-story building that houses restaurants, souvenir shops, and an indoor amusement park. • Always seem the tower from afar but finally made my way over to see it up close. Having already seen some of the Tokyo skyline from the metropolitan building (for free) I opted not to pay to go up...

  • There was a very long line and would have wasted a lot of time that could have been better put to use seeing the area surrounding. There was a halfway (40th-floor) tour too. If not going to the top...

  • One of the best places you can visit in Tokyo. It is taller than the Eiffel tower, but weights less. It is hard to believe they built it by hand. There is a paying parking near by. It is even better if you can go during a day when they have Taiwanese festival behind the tower. Ki two birds with the same stone. Also, there is a possibility to take the stairs. You have the kiss can at the top when you get to the top.
  • A must go place in Tokyo! Awesome views of the Tokyo skyline and city. Also a historic landmark in Tokyo. Parking nearby available too. Not as busy as Tokyo Skytree which is nice. There is a lot of gift shops nearby with cool stuff. Some restaurants in the area too. Very cool place to visit. If it is your first time going I would go all the way to the top of the tower it is a very cool tour and great views you can get some really nice pictures of Tokyo.
  • Beautiful view of the city with multilingual options for the top deck tour! I went at night and the night lights of the city blew me away. I'm certain during the day it would be just as magical. Wonderful staff and probably the smoothest elevator ride I've ever been on. Buying tickets online is a breeze and the wait for physical tickets weren't too bad if you don't get them online. 100% recommend visiting at least once!
  • You need to visit the tower if you come to Tokyo. The view is really nice and better than the Sky Tree since you can see stuff clearly because you're not high up in the sky. There are many souvenir shops at the bottom if you wanna get memorable items. Just try to go on week days. Weekends are somewhat crowded
  • If you want to see Tokyo from above, Tokyo Tower is the place to be. Especially in good weather you can see the whole city clearly. There's restaurants and cafes inside and everything Tokyo Tower and Japan-related--magnets, mugs, t-shirts and all souvenirs. The glass ground where you can watch the street right below 300 meters is crazy. If you do the Top Deck Tour you take the elevator to the main deck and change again for the Top Deck--just be there on your reservation time. You get a little discount if you buy your tickets online rather than from the ticket counter. Counter prices are around ¥3,000 for adults.
