Create an itinerary including The Tower of the Sun
Providing a memorable backdrop for a few snapshots of the city, The Tower of the Sun sits within a park created for the Expo '70, the first World's Fair ever held in Asia. The statue is around 65 m (213 ft) tall, with both of its arms 25 m (82 ft) long. The sun wears three faces in this sculpture--a golden mask on top, a black one on the back, and a red on the front. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Suita holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the The Tower of the Sun and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • I should be up front: I always liked the Tower of the Sun, I thought it was weird but it was also unique and it had character. It wasn't practical, it wasn't advertising, it was just this big THING...

  • As we know the Autumn Fair is now undergoing there now. Reddish and Yellowish leaves are at their best. Now is the time to visit without hesitation. Large scale memorial garden would make you enjoy all day long. Photographers are discerned everywhere, but take best care to the visitors not to interfere their way if you invite tripod, especially the cart pass with infant. You might visit there afternoon in case you want enough light source on the waterfalls. Several food shops and drink machines are prepared, also toilet. Wheelchair users are available. Fee, 260 yen for an adult.
  • The place that came out on Crayon Shinzzang! There is a large shopping mall in front of you, so it is better to avoid weekends because there are so many people. And it's really scary at night... Be careful ☺️
  • Beautiful park.. with huge area and a lot of activities for very young age until elderly people.
  • A must if you have the chance, pictures cannot portray how grand this is! If you are planning to go here, see if you can enter the actual statue as it is reservation only. There is a little museum inside! Any time of year is great here and it is a spectacular sight. I would not mind going more than once if I could!
  • A symbol of Osaka, the Tower of the Sun sits in Banpaku Kinenkoen Expo Park. The interior of the tower has been restored and features a history of the design and building, alongside a psychedelic evolution of life. Well worth a visit.
