Love on a Bike, Amman

This shop is a total "must visit" for anyone living in or visiting Amman. I was taken to this shop 4 years ago when I first moved here and I have continuously gone back...to buy things for myself, and for presents. The owner is a wonderful artist who truly loves her art and work, and what she makes is unique. The colours, the designs, and the patterns are all so beautiful, I have multiple pieces of things that I like, and I am constantly trying to find people who I can gift to, so I can go back and buy more :-) I found it disappointing when I saw some customers trying to bargain at this one of a kind shop - just because they have stereotypical ideas about the "shopping practices" in Jordan. I don't think people realise the care and hardwork that goes into each of the unique pieces. In Jordan it is especially difficult to find things made by Jordanian artists that are as as pretty as they are exclusive! If you love art and pottery, you don't want to miss this shop! If you go at the times when she unveils her new collection, you can get bonus salted caramel treats as well ;-)

Love on a bike is an absolute gem in the streets of Amman. From the charming store itself to the wonderful owner and the brilliant work she is producing; I felt like I was transported to another world. One of all things magical and beautiful. I cannot wait to go back!

I visited the shop just today for Christmas. I loved how unique the style of the shop and the products is and that they are all handmade. The owner was so friendly as well .
