Walk around and find out the prices first. The first price isn’t the fixed price! Go early in the morning before the sun becomes too hot and the market too crowded, there are beautiful items here that work well for home decor and gifts. It’s amazing seeing all the talented artists working on their art as you’re making rounds In the market. The market feels relatively safe, however just keep your eyes open. Shop and enjoy!

This market has spectacular African curio from wall hangings to jewelry to attires,,,you name it. The challenge is they are quite highly priced

Good experience at the market. Venders do ask you to look at their goods but were very respectful when we said no. Our trip was fun with me even dancing with a lady vender in the market and my sister trading her hat for a wooden sculpture. We bought a few masks and felt we got a very fair price. I found the people very lovely. No one was rude to us when we didn't buy from them. No one tried to act as our guide and we walked around without hassle.

I visited the market when it temporarily shifted near Kenya High Court. It is a decent place to buy souvenirs from Kenya. The place offers variety of souvenirs at affordable rates. Rates vary significantly, so feel free to negotiate but while negotiating, do remember that many of them earn less and payments for souvenirs should be made based on your own assessment of products' worth rather than how much you could squeeze them.. I do not regre the payment I made even if it was more than what I could have got it for because in my home country, I would have paid somewhere equivalent for something similar.

This market is open only on the Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and it offers a lot of craft work and indigenous items that would appeal to tourists and culture enthusiast. It's located at the car park of the supreme court and was quite busy on both times I went there. Ingenious clothes and materials, carvings, woven items, wood work, bags, slippers, jewelry, I could go on and on. The sellers are quite courteous and friendly. One must be prepared to bargain as the sellers are well equipped. It's a must visit location for all tourists
