  • I had a fantastic tour at Karunguru coffee. There was a lot to learn and our tour guide, Anthony, was very knowledgeable about various aspects of the coffee industry. It was quite an eye-opening experience, and I whole-heartedly recommend spending a day there for anyone who would like to know more about coffee. And of course, you will drink lots of amazing Karunguru coffee, and buy some to take with you!!!

  • It was very interesting to see how coffee beans grow and to know the history of this coffee farm.
  • Amazing place to learn coffee farming processes and history in Kenya. The colonial farm is close to 100 years old. Could use some improvement in advocacy in demand generation. All else is great!
  • Great estate with vast coffee plantations and an interesting history. We were the only visitors this day and got a private tour of the estate, and a lecture in art of growing coffee the traditional way in Kenya. The production is based on original methods and is as far from a modern and industrialized plantation as one can imagine. The result is fantastic, as revealed in the coffee tasting. We persuaded an Uber driver to take us there and wait for us during the tour. It is quite far from Nairobi and outside the range of a regular Uber ride. This was very convenient, even if the guide said he could arrange a return ride also. We paid $15 each for the tour only, as they did not offer lunch that day. Highly recommended!
