This is a very interesting and well-conceived tour. Our guide was personable and informative and spoke English well. You are taken through every step of rice growing, from germination through threshing through the forging of tools for harvesting. Unless you are on a very tight budget I would recommend shelling out a bit extra for the lunch, which was bounteous and tasty. They provide water and a hat, but do bring sunscreen. And do be prepared for the somewhat disconcerting sensation of being immersed up to mid-calf in sucking mud at the very beginning of the tour.

We came here for the rice farm experience, it was a really fun and informative morning with our host being so friendly and speaking great English! It's really hands on and it's great to have some different rice tasters at the end. It's easy to book with them directly over email and the included transfers are very handy, highly recommend!

In this attraction you learn about the way rice is grown and experience the steps of sowing rice, harvesting it and more. It takes about 3 hours, there is a pick up from the hotel and a bamboo souvenir is also prepared on the spot. I highly recommend it. The guide was very nice with very good English.

It was an amazing and really insightful experience with a guide who spoke English very well. We followed the whole process of harvesting rice and could even see the cooking process. After that we had a chat with our really nice guide and had tasty rice snacks!
-
Great experience in which you learn the traditional method of growing, harvesting, and preparing rice from end to end. You can get your hands as messy as you like. Staff are kind, well spoken, and informative (and good photographers, too).
