Kemeri National Park, Jurmala

An amazing national park. The routes are well made, in a good condition. It was a very pleasant journey. The view from the watchtower was truly spectacular (check last picture for reference). I went with my homies and we had so much fun. Just bring good vibes & people with you, and this might just be the best trip destination. 10/10

⚠️ If you’re coming by TRAIN from Riga, you need to walk 40-50 min on the road without sidewalks . ⚠️ for the bog trail The only bad thing about this park Otherwise really nice and beautiful park, worth the visit even if it’s cloudy

Really nice park just a half an hour drive from Riga city. There is a really nice wooden path for a walk which leads to a tower and you can have a great view of the entire park. A must visit if you are in Riga. Very beautiful and relaxing.

Amazing sulphur lakes. Amazing nature. Amazing atmosphere. Really recommend going from Riga by train to Kemeri and then go on foot. The way is worth it.

Park is big and it has many routes of different lengths. Search for “Liela Kemeru tirela laipa”, if you want an easy walk through the bog (1.4km or 3.3km) on the wooden paths. Climb the observation tower, from which you can see a stunning landscape. This route took us about an hour. On a summer day be sure to take a hat and a bottle of water. Mosquitoes mostly bite in the forest area. We didn't need repellent in the swamp. Parking near the entrance costs 2 euros per car.
