Create an itinerary including Cathedrale Notre-Dame
Built in the late-Gothic style, Cathedrale Notre-Dame contains the tombs of several important historical figures, including John the Blind, Count of Luxembourg and King of Bohemia from 1310 to 1346. The impressive 17th-century architecture also warrants a close look: note the beautiful sculpted portal and Baroque organ gallery. Politicians and royalty walk these halls every year after Easter, when the national pilgrimage brings people to the closing ceremony at this church. • Very beautiful cathedral, we were there in Easter Sunday it was not crowded, unfortunately we didn’t manage to see any ceremony, but still very impressed by the art and sculptures and architecture. You can feel the positive energy and definitely the best place to pray, meditate and light a candle
  • The cathedral is just absolutely breathtaking and truest stunning. We took a walk around the grass and there was a lady playing the violin which was just beautiful. There are some statues and round the back are toilets which is 2 euros. Highly recommend to go and see.
  • This Gothic Style Cathedral is beautiful and one of the must visit destination in Luxembourg. It is known as one of the beautiful Buildings. It is free to enter and visit. It looks really nice and quiet in the inside . You can sense peace inside. The cathedral is best seen in the early morning hours, when the sun shines through the stained glass windows!

  • Very beautiful entryway. Free to get in and a great little stop if you are walking through the town. It's a bit on the smaller size but a great way to spend a moment in quiet thought or prayer.
