Grand Ducal Palace features one of the most impressive facades in the city. Built as a city hall during the Flemish Renaissance, the palace suffered greatly during World War II--the Nazis destroyed much of the original furniture and decor and used the building as a tavern. Today, the grand interior is open for tours, but only during the summer. Check the website for dates and times. It's worth stopping by just to have a look and take some pictures. The guard changes take place on regular basis.

Great view. Such an integral part of the city. Great for photo ops. And you can see it from all over the city

Pretty palace in the center of town, the official residence of the Grand Duke and family. Nice architecture and also the opportunity to watch the marching guard outside. Every half an hour to so they change the guard in a simple ceremony which is nice to watch. The palace is in the center of town so definitely worth a stop by when exploring Luxembourg…

Beautiful place, very nice but closes too early. Right in the centre of the city. The old town is in walking distance. There aren't many places to visit in Luxembourg but this place and area around it is something you don't want to miss. The paid parking is just 2 mins away. There is a high street in about 5 mins walk which is decorated beautifully.

Nice big building in the center of Luxembourg's old quarter. If you are lucky or you want to wait, u can see the ceremony of guards changing shift from time to time. Other than that im not sure theres o lot of thing to do there..

A beautiful and elegantly designed Palace in the centre of Luxembourg city. Close to many scenic viewpoints. They have restricted access and well guarded. Official residence of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg 🇱🇺. Ideal for walking tour when you are visiting nearby attractions.

It was fun to watch the change of guard at the Grand Ducal Palace, Luxembourg has everything a sovereign state has, but on a minute scale. They only have two guards for the palace.
