  • Arts that look so so to me. If u happen to like Jawi a lot, u can enjoy it more. The gallery is very hot which makes visiting it unpleasant. The only good thing is it’s free.

  • Completed in 1912, it was originally the High Court later becoming the office for the Public Works Department. It was later converted to an art gallery in 1983. It houses art works done by Kedahans. Entrance is free. Currently, it is closed to public due to ongoing renovation.
  • Not too many artwork is on displayed; most of the collection are either rotated or brought from some other place (during my visit there is a traveling exhibition by the National Gallery in Kuala Lumpur on paintings by Kedah's artist). The building itself is an art but they still did not do anything on the ornate ceiling. The display on traditional Malay house look too tired and well, lazy. Not much enthusiast by the staffs maybe but at least the security personal is friendly & helpful.
  • Located at Dataran Alor Setar, this building was built in 1912.  The building was used as a High Court before it was converted to be an art gallery in 1983. Many artworks by local talents are displayed here today. Beautiful architecture and well maintained. And it is free entrance.
  • i went there at night. the paintings are cool but some of them are dusty :(( hmmm they should clean them more frequently. you can also “lepak” at the food trucks after a tour in the gallery!
  • Beautiful structure but inside is nothing much to see unless on a exhibition time. Its free entrance
