The Els Club Desaru Coast - Ocean Course, Bandar Penawar

There are 3 9-hole courses, it’s a very beautiful course to play in, especially after playing in the Valley course, this one is flatter although still challenging. I had a birdie in hole 6 of the coast course even though I didn’t drive it onto the green so that made my day. Staff are friendly. The clubhouse is much newer than the Valley course and restaurant seems very popular on the Monday public holiday we were there. Food was very very good. I’d love to go back again! Highly recommended.

Wonderful golf club in Desaru. Beautiful scenery, quality maintenance, kind staff, clean and luxurious clubhouse.. it equipped with everything. Even the green fee very reasonable. Definitely I will visit again.

Excellent and beautiful resort style golf course designed by one of my all time favorite golf, Ernie Els, Big Easy. Well maintained, fairways and green immaculate. Green speed consistent at around 9.5 stimpspeed. Good service by the staff. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Went for a ramadhan buffet.. Okay lah, the food is nice, have a few selection of food. Sadly, the food went out quite fast. The ice cream was already melt at 8.00pm..

My husband and I had played at the ocean course and it is one of the best courses that we have played in Malaysia if not the best. The course greens and fairways are well maintained. The golf club staff were friendly and helpful. Vijay and Ravin were on site to chat and make us feel comfortable. We will be back for more!
