Create an itinerary including Japanese Village
A little slice of Japan in Malaysia, Japanese Village was designed by a Japanese architect and built by a team of skilled workers from Japan. Enclosed within a tropical rainforest, the garden features several classic Japanese attractions, including a teahouse and tatami suite. You can rent a kimono and take a few photos in traditional Japanese garb, or join a tea ceremony to learn a little about Japanese culture. • Nice and simple place to go during the weekend but bear in mind that there's a lot of people hanging around and taking picture. You need to park and walk up the stairs around 200 meters. There's monkeys so please take care of your belongings properly. Overall its a nice and serene place but not really well maintained by the management.
  • If you are Nature Lover definitely will love this place. Silence, peace and nice environment. Entrance fee RM 14. Limited parking available here. During my visit the shops closed.
  • Japanese village at 3500 above sea level. Parking with limited space but someone will arrange the area. There will be a little climbing route to the entrance of the Japanese village. There is a sourvenir shop for some items or water and ice cream. They also have a kimono house, so you can rent and pose in the background in a real Japanese house. Take a tour around the forest trail and you will reach back at the entrance if you are truly a person who enjoys nature with a cool atmosphere.
  • Best View to Enjoy. Greatly replicate Japanese Village environment. Yet, need to climb up the high hill to reach the village. Lack of facilities for eating especially. Restaurant only provide non Halal foods. Souvenir shops doesnt give much choice for tourist
  • If you visit or stay at Colmar Tropicale, suggest taking a shuttle bus to come here. The parking space here is small. Make sure you are fit enough to hike 88 steep steps & walk the hills. Careful also with the wild monkey. 4/5 The atmosphere here is so peaceful, tranquil & undisturbed. Clean & looks well retained. 5/5 However, some of the suites in the garden are abandoned. The lack of signage caused some visitors to wonder & lose their way. Fortunately, the area is not so big. 3/5 If you want to feel like you're in Japan, you can stroll around the park in traditional kimono for a rental of RM20. The staff are friendly & happy to serve the guests. 5/5
