Create an itinerary including Big Red Strawberry Farm
Pick your own berries at Big Red Strawberry Farm, which cultivates fruits and lettuces hydroponically. At the cafe, tuck into strawberry waffles, strawberry ice cream, salad, lettuce juice, and more, made using the freshest ingredients from the farm. Purchase strawberry products and strawberry-themed souvenirs at the shop. You can also buy a variety of ornamental potted plants at the farm's garden center. The entire farm is covered, so don't worry about visiting in bad weather. For best pickings, try to time your visit for sometime between June and August, the peak of strawberry season. • A good location to see strawberries, vegetables, flowers at the same place. No entry fees required. Premise is well laid out and clean. Cafe selling strawberry and strawberry themed drinks operating. Shop selling flower and gardening tools available. Carparking aplenty. However road to/from site is steep.
  • Totally amazed at all things strawberry in this place. A side attraction was the garden of various flowering plants. Don't miss out on Cactus 🌵 Valley and the amazing cacti.
  • Very crowded even though not on holiday season and having light showers. The location is easily found with many car parks available, but the road is very steep and windy. The cafe sells variety of dessert, but not all can be takeaway (especially ice cream), desserts taste good as well. Pick-your-own strawberries and lettuces are available too.
  • Free entrance. There is a canteen-like eatery with a huge variety of strawberry-based options, including waffles, ice creams, shakes, scones, etc. Strawberry and lettuce picking activities are available. Souvenir shop and an arcade centre too, so there is really something for everyone. There is a (plant) nursery area where you can get some cheap plants and succulents, and a caged area where they put various birds on display.
  • Nothing much to see except if you want to pick lettuces..last time I went, people can pick strawberries, not sure if not in season when I came there recently in Dec. But you can still enjoy strawberry made produce and delicacies, such as cakes, coffee, ice creams and salads. Just keep in mind to park your car up near the park. Its a long hike upwards to reach the park by foot.
