The Old Courthouse, Kuching

The Ranee Museum is located here. Even though the path is quite tricky, just ask the staff around. They will guide you there. Sarawak Tourism is also located here if you wish to know more about places in Sarawak. It’s kinda gloomy after the rain but still many people around here shopping and strolling around Kuching Waterfront

This restaurant has got to be one of my favourites in Kuching. I love the space, ambience & of course the food was amazing. We enjoyed everything we ordered.

Despite its name, this heritage building has nothing to do with court of law, but more of the venue for state events and government office for Sarawak State Council meetings. Now this colonial baroque style architecture is the host for Sarawak Tourist Information Center, Renee Museum and several modern cafés and restaurants. Nice place, but at times the exit/entrance to India Street/Plaza Merdeka is blocked, making us having to go a big round.

Historical Landmark of Sarawak. Plenty of history at this complex. From the handing over of colonial powers to Sarawakians, To the visit of the Queen. Now it houses the Ranee Gallery. A fancy restaurant named The Commons.

Peace and quite place for rest and relaxing from busy and hustling city of Kuching. Previously during early times, it was a court house but currently it has been turned into a museum, cafes and other businesses located inside this complex.
