Kundasang War Memorial, Kundasang

A quiet war memorial sitting in the town of Kundasang. Location is easy to find. Place is well maintain with beautiful garden and flowers being planted inside. There is also a small souvenir shop selling handicraft in this memorial site.

We visited this war memorial that memorializes the death march in World War 2 where 2,400 British and Australian soldiers perished. Unfortunately the place is very poorly maintained despite a small entrance fee being charged. Those in charge need to do more to properly honour the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Best and most well maintained place of Kundasang if you ask me. Definitely worth visiting for 10rm and tells some interesting (horrific) history. Nice view on the mountain at the waterside pond at the end

One of the place to visit while having friends come over which is not local. Knowing the history of those war and what's the contribution that had been made and sacrifice and lead to what we have now. The facility seems like hardly being take care. Probably need more income to service and maintain.

Not that Wow! But definitely still one of the things to do while in Kundasang, with just RM4 per entrance I guess it's good enough to keep to place goin about, bit of historical and gardens👍🏻 I did managed to capture some great plant photos and sceneries👍🏻 Overall for me still worth the visit👍🏻 Even my parents ❤️ é short visit here
