Tough hiking due to heavy down poured. To make it worse we're hiking in sandals. Must use proper shoes. Leeches every where on our body. They got into my pants too 😅 No other people along the trail. Took less than 2 hours to get to the Waterfall but we started late after 1pm. When we reached hot spring about 5pm, there were no people around at all.

enter via poring, RM 3 entry. no guide required, just follow the forest tracks. some of it broke into 2 just for shortcut purposes. just follow either one should be okay. you'll cross 2 streams (one is the kipungit falls, second one is just another stream midway) beware of leeches and a snake sighted by our second team behind (i didn't saw it myself). we reached the waterfall in 2 hours. bring first aid kit for leech bites. hike is not so difficult unless you're not a frequent hiker nevertheless the waterfall itself is very much worth the troubles. one of my favorites so far in Sabah.

Worth my 3.9km hike for a beautiful waterfall. love it. Will hike again there when I have time. very recommended.

Place is about 3.5 km hike to the waterfall. Will passby few smaller streams. Not too stenous climb but there are leeches everywhere. Certain areas around the hike may need to get wet. For those who say being bitten by leeches are not painful are obviously lying 😂

The trail can be considered as medium level (not too easy yet not too hard) and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours to reach to the waterfall. You will pass by a few small waterfalls along the way. There are also leeches but they bring no harms except sucking your blood. Just pretend that you're donating your blood so it'll be fine! 😆
