not an easy hike though...almost 200m elevation gain, steep but with proper wooden stairs... can be slippery at some stretch when it is wet...

View on the peak is worth the hike. However it is not recommended if you're not fit enough because I definitely underestimated its difficulty.

To get here, you have to book tours through travel agents (many around tourist ports) or your guesthouse. If it rain the day before, they will not give you permit to hike because it will be so slippery. So luck is important. It takes 45 minutes- 1 hours to get to the top or even shorter, depends on your speed. Should be 700m high. Do bring shoes because it’s compulsory. If you don’t have, you can rent there. And it worths to try because it’s indeed so beautiful, gift of Mother Earth.

My personal favourite island in Sabah! Hiking is a must if you have good health and stamina! The view was definitely worth the hike.

Bohey Dulang Island Thing to know 1) 600m altitude 2) Must wear sport shoes, but able to rent RM5/pair. But limited size of shoes. 3) Medical history eg cardiac or asthma patient not advise to hike. The view from top is definitely worth the hike. The roadway is slippery and quite steep. Took 30-40mins to reach the top. Got public toilet provide. Aquarium There is small aquarium there. Able to see albino turtle , starfish , sea urchin , rock fish at the aquarium .

Crystal clear water and adventures for hiking up the mountain. Nice scenery from the top of the mountain. Needs more clear signboard indicating the height in meters. Good and friendly guides to follow you up the mountain
