Eco Dive Club, Maafushi Island

I really enjoyed and loved diving with this amazing diving center. I did 10 fun dives, every dive was a great experience for me (I had already +900 dives in my log-book). During my dives, I have seen wonderful fishes (Sharks, Eagle Rays, Tuna, Turtles, Manta, schools of different fishes, big Groupers and many other beautiful things). Much love to Coco & Nehal, they are very professional & friendly, I loved diving with them. These guys are really moving smoothly in the strong oceanic current like sharks.

There are many dive shops to choose from on Maafushi, but I highly recommend just heading straight for Eco Dive Club. Every staff member was super helpful in answering questions beforehand. The dive equipment and boat was excellent and most importantly our dive instructor Nihaal was an absolute legend. He actually took the time to refresh some dive skills with us before heading down for our first dive and he gave thorough instructions/info prior to each dive site. Absolute brilliant day seeing a nudi branch, loads of grey reef sharks, eagle rays, trigger fish, huge dog tooth tuna etc.. All staff seems to truly care about sustainable practices and to top it off, the dives were at the cheapest price I've encountered in the Maldives (USD50 per dive, all equipment included, low season). I recently did scuba diving with the Eco Dive club and it was awesome. Being a person with sinusitis i was a bit scared initially when they explained how the pressure changes as the depth increases. I was the first one to go among our team and let me say, Nihal (the owner, my instructor) was super patient and through out the dive he made sure i was okay. He also clicked amazing pictures for me. I highly recommend this place. They give importance to your safety first. The best❤️

We had a really great diving experience. The guys were really helpful with everything. We are both novice divers and we felt really comfortable under their guiding. And they also took pictures and made videos under water for free. It was for sure our best diving experience on the maldives.

Amazing dive center, I strongly recommend it. Great diving team of guides, trainers and dive masters. These guys are very experienced professionals, knowing in depth the region/spots/area, the marine life/corals, specifics of diving in the ocean & Maldives and safety procedures. The trips are very good organized with attention to the details and safety. They have well documented spot maps. Dive groups are limited which guarantees best dive experience during the day. This dive center is appropriate to all dive levels. Dive center is eco oriented as name suggest - they are planting new corals, do some ocean cleaning and a stuff like that for more healthy environment. The boat and the Captain Hasan are amazing as well! Also special kudos to Mippu, Nihal and the guy with the big fins and nice curly hair. Mario & Maya
