Short walk around this lake, where it is of course impossible to swim. That day the sky was clear, which allowed us to have the lake with a nice green and to enjoy the view. The tour took us a good hour. Located not far from the slaughterhouse, with the possibility for a few cars to park.

To be done on a hike in the morning very early to avoid the heat. About an hour hike on a clean trail that goes around the lake with breathtaking views of the mainland and the ocean. No need to be equipped with hiking shoes, a pair of running shoes is enough. Passed several hikers and joggers. No feeling of insecurity Park the car at L'abattoir at the start of the path that goes up from the houses to the lake. The least: little indication by panels for access and for the hiking tour.

Very simple and beautiful hike between the lake on one side and the ocean on the other side

Stroll around the magnificent lake. Avoid going there at the end of the morning when the heat is heavy. View of the lagoon and large land.
