  • We enjoyed our walk through this park. It was beautiful and mystical and we felt an energy there. This is a must see, especially if you are limited in time and cannot get to one of the larger ruins.

  • Beautiful little spot right in the hotel zone. There were maybe 3 other people when we went, which was amazing considering where we were. We just walked right from our resort up the beach to the public beach and cut across to get there. Think it was about 60 pesos per person.
  • For $10 we had a personal guide who provided us with an amazing experience with tons of info and history of the Quintana Roo area. Also it was within walking distance of our hotel!!
  • Close to the hotel we did check it out. Interesting but also limited information provided. Make sure you do it early in the day otherwise it’s too hot. An older man is walking around offering giving a tour. If you don’t book him he comes back with stupid comments which I found absolutely inappropriate and he should stop doing that. Takes about 30 minutes to visit the site. Best are the animals you can see…
  • Super easy and cheap public bus ride to a small archeological site in the Hotel Zone. Very inexpensive and worth a short trip if you have time. Also a short walk across the street to the really nice public beach El Rey Playa.
  • Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the very informative guide who showed us around and explained the history and culture of the Maya. Also enjoyed seeing the iguanas. Recommend using mosquito repellent.
