  • Very nice place. It remembers me Buzios in the 80’s. The best of al is the mood, beaches and people. It‘s a must ID you go to Yucatan.

  • Nice quiet beach. Not alot of choices for food or drinks. Sandfleas and mosquitoes everywhere! Bring bug spray and sun screen.

  • It’s a very nice beach but be warned it is not easy to get to! Also bring bug spray! Tons of mosquitoes here. If you are walking or riding bikes and it has been raining with the past week the roads will like likely be flooded with tons of large thigh deep puddles. I would recommend taking a cab or if you do walk/bike try and take roads as close to the norther shore as possible as we found these are much less flooded. The beach is very nice though and there a nice bar/restaurant at the end.
  • The beach is large and not yet filled with hotels and resorts. 15mn by taxi from the center or 30mn walking along the shore and you get there. There is a small place selling fruit juices and such but it was closed when we passed by. The view is really impressive as water can be almost all around you. Many birds to watch on the quiet beach as well !
  • In Nov the beach is ok but not spectacular: a lot of seaweed, water is shallow so not for swimming, 500 peso for a full day of sun bed and cocktails are from 185 peso. Beautiful sunset and a lot of fun with bioluminoscience effect is worth waiting till 7pm.
  • Mosquito repellent is a must must be, they will eat you alive after sunset! Don't think that how bad can it be, we thought that also but just in case brought one from Italian pizza restaurant on the way and one of the best decisions of my life! :) Definitely worth a trip, great beach and magical bioluminescence experience after 20.00, darker the better!
  • More nature than the rest of the area. You can go there by taxi. Be careful of the return; it's better to have a taxi phone number if you don't want to wait too long. You can also walk back to the city; if it rained the past few days, it's easier to walk back through the beach. There is natural shadow to not burn too much 🔥
