  • Great apartment hotel, everything is new, wide rooms and balcony, kitchenware. Ocean view, and the owner is mostly generous and informative. High scale place!!! Attention- the place is Punta Mundaca.....  more

  • This place could be and I am sure it was amazing. Great history and story but has been let go for many many years. We still enjoyed but it could be so amazing if cared for properly.

  • A really cool place to check out! It is unfortunately, very neglected. Also, make sure to take bug spray! I got eaten alive by mosquitoes. You'll see tons of iguanas. It's either $3 USD were $30 MXD. Well worth the few dollars if it helps to maintain or improve the place. Oh ya, the locals told me it doubled is a zoo or something at one point as well. Hence, the structure with bars.
  • This is a clean, simple and beautiful hotel. My room has a small kitchen, a comfortable bed and good water pressure. Nothing fancy but it's a functional space that's affordable. The people who live here are very kind and helpful. I like it here because it's a little community and a glimpse of the real Isla Mujeres.
  • This is a tourist trap. The park was empty. A woman guarded the front to collect a small fee. One you were inside there was a bunch of iguanas that took over the place. The wildlife and vegetation has grown in and taken over what looks like the buildings and displays within the park. There's a bunch of bugs, so prepare to be eaten alive bug spray or not. Don't waste your time visiting this place. There is much more to see on the island.
  • This place is magical for me. It saddenes me to see how poorly mantained it continues to be, now that I have returned. however, this used to be the home of a retired pirate, and he used to own 40 % of the island. Can you imagine? So much history! Worth supporting.
  • Historic sites hidden down wandering paths. Chances for wildlife and great photos.
