  • Must visit, honestly we expected it to be smaller but we were pleasantly surprised as to how big the site is! I think it was 85 pesos entry fee and it was more than worth it. There's a small shop where you can buy water (recommended on hot days as there's not a lot of shade). There's also info signs that explain the Mayan culture, so a plus for history/culture buffs. After your visit you can go to the beach on foot as it's maybe 5 minutes (tops) away, make it a full day trip!
  • Very amazing place to go and see. It's super hot, but it was so worth it. Make sure to wear sunscreen and bring water. We didn't bother with a guide. We wanted to take our time. Definitely take advantage of the shady spots to sit for a minute and cool off. Unfortunately with it being summer time the sea was full of sargaso and was dark brown instead of its normal beautiful turquoise. But still very pretty.
  • Amazing views! I love exploring ruins, but unfortunately there were a lot of restrictions in this one, to preserve it of course. I didn't mind it, but if you want to take pictures inside certain temples, don't expect to find that here. Otherwise, I think it's an amazing spot to learn more about the mayan culture and enjoy breathtaking views!
  • Beautiful park, well managed and cleanly kept. The line to get in was pretty long but a guy (not sure if he was with the park or not) let us pay him $5 to skip it. We went on a Sunday, there were a lot of people there but it still didn't feel overly crowded.
  • Absolutely amazing place to visit, this should be one of the wonders of the world, the history of the Mayan culture is fantastic, beautiful setting fantastic buildings. If you get chance to visit go. History spanning 200 bc to 1200 ad
