Kara Gani Winery, Vulcanesti

This family run vineyard is an absolute must visit. The couple that owns/runs the vineyard takes you around town a bit and is very knowledgable on the history of the area. Then take you to their property where you do a wine tasting and have an incredible meal. I'm not sure what was more delicious the meal or the wine. The wine is amazing though! I am a big lover for Cabernet Sauvignon and highly recommend you grab a few bottles after the tour.

It's a family place is a must for wine and food lovers. We visited this place with a very short appointment, but the owners welcomed us with great hospitality. The wines are well made, interesting, sometimes stand out from other Moldavian wines. Wine is ideal for local food, you can try there. Next time we will definitely return to this place.

A lot of meat to eat. Nice property and welcoming guests. Mr. Gheorghe the owner will gladly tell you stories and pour some good rose and red. Don't expect a big wine cellars and factory, it' a small family run buisiness with an accent on food and wine. Food mostly.

KaraGani is Vulkanesti's top winery in the south of Moldova, located in the country’s semi-autonomous Gagauzia region. With two-day's notice, the husband-and-wife team will prepare an incredible selection of Gagauzian dishes using local ingredients from nearby farms. Their wines are excellent, as are their nastoiki (infused alcohol).

A unique place on earth, a paradise! Thanks to Gheorghe for his amazing kindness. If you happen to visit Moldavia you can't not stopping here. And if you are not going to visit Moldavia, do it instead and stop here! Amazing food and super wines!!! It must be visited!
