Create an itinerary including Japanese Gardens
A calm oasis for the weary traveler, Japanese Gardens offers a space for quiet contemplation surrounded by carefully crafted beauty. Meticulous arrangements of vegetation, stone, and water create a sense of peace in this garden, which was created for Princess Grace. Highlights of the garden include the waterfall, which flows into the carp-filled lake, and the teahouse, an ornamental structure where you can sit quietly. Walk the paths through trees and rocks, wander over the arched, red bridge to a small island, and watch the fish and ducks that swim below you. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Japanese Gardens and many more Monte-Carlo attractions: make an itinerary online using Klarna Trips Monte-Carlo trip app.

  • Overall it is a nicely maintained place where you can get some rest and relax. However due to the constrations around the garden it is noisy.

  • Beautiful quiet refuge in this busting country focused on money, gambling and the glorious sunshine. Will be amazing once the noisy building work surrounding it comes to an end.

  • For starters it's free so worth the visit as most other things in the area aren't, even if they only cost a few euros. The whole garden is beautifully maintained, and the koi carp seem to be cared for as there are lots of them including dozens of babies. The whole area is a photographer's dream. You are bound to get some good shots without even trying. If you are going for some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle nearby, currently you won't find it, there is construction work just outside on reclaimed land and you can't escape the noise.
  • Simple life with each step towards the end of (zen garden) within.. Fantastic Japanese Garden located in Larvotto (Monte Carlo Bay area) Enjoy your walk and reflection about life.. The moment of now or basically speaking your sunshine :) Cheers from Ireland, Swav.
  • Relaxing place but some people were smoking in the sitting areas and there was a new construction where they closed completely certain areas and you cannot have the sea view anymore.
  • Beautiful Japanese garden. It is well cared for and beautifully planned. Nice little oasis of green in Monaco.
  • Quiet place where you can enjoy the moment of Japanese garden culture. Perfect experience. Date taken: August 2015
