Create an itinerary including Old Medina of Casablanca
Step back into the city's past as you walk the narrow streets of Old Medina of Casablanca, a walled part of town dating back to the French colonial era. Smaller and more European than many other regional medinas, the buildings display an art deco style, with wrought ironwork, shuttered windows, and decorative arabesques, now worn and chipped slightly, adding to their charm. A colonial clock tower stands as the quarter's main focal point, though the thrill lies in the bustling marketplace, where you'll find traditional leather goods, clothes, and spices. • Waste of time compared to other Medinas in Morocco. Selling low end or counterfeit items. Beware of the pick pockets.

  • Came here on a Saturday morning and it was as lively as can be. A couple local cafes on the outside of the market provide a nice place to rest and watch the world goes by.
  • Lovely market beautiful things to buy. As a tourist be shrewd as prices are hiked intentionally, go with a local if you can so they can assist. Asides that have fun.
  • Lots to look at. Please do visit with local Guide. Fresh Sea food 😋 Meat, Traditional dresses, Beautiful alley ways, Heritage Buildings.
  • Very interesting place and unique place. Feel safe walking around through the crowds even walk paths are narrow. Seems people are disciplined even the tourists. Be back there👍
  • It's an interesting place for sure, it's worth a visit and the place is pretty big, so you can easily get lost walking around the numerous alleys and side roads, I took a point off just because of the garbage everywhere, the streets are not very clean, just to much waste on the roads everywhere.
