Create an itinerary including Royal Palace of Rabat
Surrounded by French-style landscaped gardens, Royal Palace of Rabat serves as the residence of Moroccan royalty. Constructed in 1864, the building provided the setting for many important events over the years, including a royal wedding. Designed by French architects inspired by traditional Arabic motifs, the interior of the palace remains closed for visitors--you can take pictures of the royal guards from a large square in front of the entrance. Adorned with flowerbeds, antique canons, and a central fountain, the square hosts official parades. • This royal palace is mainly a photo stop, but, for me, it was also an opportunity to see the exterior/architecture of a Moroccan royal palace. Actually, I was more impressed with the amount of land...

  • Before being allowed entry you first need to go to the right entry point I was told go to the next entrance 3 times, you will need a passport to be checked before entry, no charge for entry personally was quite disappointed, yes it’s nice but not really much to see
  • It is located in the heart of the city and is a significant symbol of the country's history and culture. The palace is not open to the public, but its exterior and surrounding grounds can be viewed from the outside. The palace is surrounded by lush gardens and is considered one of the most beautiful examples of traditional Moroccan architecture, incorporating elements of Islamic and European design. The Royal Palace is a major landmark in Rabat and a key symbol of the country's monarchy.
  • One of the attractions here in Rabat. Palace looks nice from the outside. Be careful with what kind of shots you take with your camera though. Maximum security as it is still the residence of the present King of Morocco and his Royal family members.
  • Consists of great area of houses and parks. To enter we needed to declare passports.
  • This place is so beautiful. It’s free to visit just check in at the police station at the door and present your ID and you are good to go.
