Tofo Scuba, Tofo

Wasn't sure about where to go but after walking in the front door it felt like we were where we belonged. We did a few dives with the team there and loved everything about it. Extremely well organised team and dive planning done perfectly. Really professional team and incredible knowledge of the reefs in the area. Will be back soon for sure!

A friend and I just spent two weeks diving at Tofo Scuba, also staying at Tilak Lodge. We had an exceptional time, as Brodie, Dan, and the dive instructors took fantastic care of us. They were very safe and professional, with equipment in top shape, but they were also laid-back, which was a great combination. And the location right on the beach was lovely. We had so many fantastic dives, with lots of mantas, different type of sharks, guitarfish, and a wide variety of other fish. And we got to snorkel with several whale sharks! They offer discounts if you stay and dive with them, which was superb! It was so nice to have one crew taking care of everything. They arranged a snorkeling trip to see sea horses, as well as our PCR tests and transfers. Also, just in general, Tofo was so safe, and there were some nice restaurants when we wanted to mix things up. I'm really sad to be leaving, as it definitely became a home away from home. Hopefully I can return someday.

I completed my open water diving certificate with Tofo Scuba and was extremely happy with the whole process! I had visited a few dive centres around Tofo but 100% made the right decision here. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient! Huge special thank you to my instructor Olivia - who was amazing when it came to explaining the skills thoroughly and a really fun companion for the dives! I felt completely safe and looked after the whole time, both under and out of the water. The staff around the centre were also all super friendly and the place had a good vibe. Definitely would have stayed for longer if I had the time but will have to see these guys again for some deep dives!

Tofo Scuba is a professional and safety first scuba diving centre in Tofo Mozambique. We did 8 dives with them over 4 days. The team has superb knowledge of the many dive sites in the region and where and when to go based on the weather, tides and currents. The DMs/instructors are friendly and approachable if you feel uneasy about anything. Their dive briefings although thorough and meticulous are also greatly entertaining and create great anticipation for the dives. Many of the dives sites here are 20+m and as we are both advanced divers with Nitrox certifications we were glad to have the extra bottom time and shorter surface intervals. Olivia, James, Nelson and Rea really know the sites well and were great at pointing out some of the rarer and more elusive sea life. Olivia specifically has an outstanding knowledge of life under the sea. We are grateful to Five and Mannie who skippered the RIBS and spent their time on the boat while we were down. We are glad we chose to dive with Tofo Scuba and recommend them if you are ever lucky enough to dive in this paradise. See you next trip Russel and Rose

Intended to spend a week here, stayed for nearly a month. A wonderful diving family that were super knowledgable, safety conscious and fun. I really hope I have the chance to come back. The affiliated Tilak Lodge is a lovely place to stay too.
