Came here for a short day visit, the buildings surrounding the site are massive. But a lot of the buildings are empty and the size is vast for what is necessary. Wouldnt recommend unless you want to kill some time.

Place we can get knowledge
-
Beyond description. Huge. A hagiography. English speakers, Mr Moses, often to be found in the Naval exhibition, speaks excellent English and is very kind and helpful.
-
Pretty cool museum actually. Quiet modern for Burmese standards, although it doesn't seem to frequented by other tourists. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the mostly empty exhibition halls. Definitely worth a go if you're in the area. Best bet is to rent a bike or go by cab as there is no public transport whatsoever and the place is a bit away from all the rest.

It was very very huge. If you want to learn abut the military history of Myanmar then this is the place to go. So many things on display.
