River Gallery, Yangon (Rangoon)

A quality museum with great pieces from Myanmar artists - paintings, mixed media, ceramics, lacquerware, and sculptures. The staff is very helpful and willing to spend time to explain the pieces. The gallery is air conditioned. I would plan to spend no more than an hour here. All of the pieces are for sale and they also have smaller prints and merchandise for sale that are more affordable. Definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant gallery full of locally produced art from local artists. Well worth a visit. Especially loved the umbrella featuring raindrops from Mor Mor' water drop series.

You may see different faces of Myanmar from various artists. The gallery does not show many pieces but they seems to have a website where you may see their diversity of art pieces. If you want to pause the busy street's noisy sounds and hurried tempos, this is the place to have a peace of mind.

It is a fantastic place to show your works.It is not such a big hall but enough place to watch and feel all of beautiful things .As it is a gallery,it has many light bulbs to illuminate of paintings arts.I think it is a good place. The place is simple yet so refreshing. It has an art gallery, freshly painted corner, installation and an art space that puts on display artsy stuff for the art lovers. The very great atmosphere here,a quiet,clean and have good air conditions,so we can enjoy and feel the arts very comfortably. The place is in beautiful and attractive and meaningful so we can enjoy the gallery too.Attached prices are very reasonable,reliable and realistic and valuable.
