  • We saw soooooo many elephants! I think every animal in the park has come to this water hole. We saw more here than out driving. Come spend a few days here, enjoy the pool, watch a sunset and kick back with a drink as animals come to take a drink as well. We also saw the rare black rhino every night we were there...AMAZING!!!
  • Facilities where clean and staff is fairly friendly. Unfortunately the camping places aren't that we'll maintained. Fire places, tables and chairs are breaking. Not a lot of shade going around as most of the trees look dead or busy dying.
  • The place is really old and the condition is not great...food was terrible they didn't have potatoes yo.make chips or potato salad which was on the alacarter menu...I didn't get room service am not sure whether I was supposed to go to reception myself and request it or what was I supposed to do. Its fairly cheap...but the rooms can do with a bit of renovations even the towels.provided .
  • Friendly staff. Someone assisted with the luggage to take to the bungalow. That was new and tank you. Open toiletts not very clean. Should have a person to come and clean regulary. When we pitched up for dinner we were asked if we booked for dinner we're not told to book for dinner when checking in even we had a bungalow incl dinner bed and breakfast. Dinner was disappointed, chicken which we took for the children very spicy. Not mentioned on menu. Not enough cutlery at breakfast time. Should rather have Bungalow excl dinner bed and breakfast and give the visitor the choice if he wants to eat in the restaurant or not and charge it separate. Bungalow was clean except for not all lights were working. Reported it. We enjoyed otherwise our stay.
  • Petty expensive for fairly basic accommodation but that seems to be the price for staying inside the park. We were in a bush chalet that was only a couple of minutes walk to the water hole. The highlight is definitely the water hole. You can sit and watch the sunset and see what animals will come to drink. We were there in April and there was only a handful of animals that we saw at the water hole - giraffe, rhino, antelope & jackals.
