A guide is needed and if the gun is on private land, and all land on Nauru is owned by someone or a group of people, then it is manners to ask permission first. I've never been told no. Just ask...

It is hidden in the Nauruan jungle with no signs, so you need a local to take you there, and they are una great location, once you climb to the Guns you have great views over the Nauruan jungle

Interesting place to visit, lots of old army equipment just sitting in the middle of nowhere, you can walk right up and touch them.
