One of the best places of visit in Nepal. It is a film shooting location. Many movies have been shot here...the famous being retro movie Hare Ram Hare Krishna's... Dum Maro dum song. This place is good for shopping too, but don't forget to bargain upto 60%.😉 Katmandu's biggest temple is here. Bhaktapur architecture is just amazing. Those who visit Nepal must not miss seeing this place.

Best place to find peace in the city. The place should actually stop vehicle entry, not just from the gate but from about 1km away from it, so that the tourist could also enjoy not just the temples and the palace, but also the home construct in that era. It would be really great, if the government took interest on it. Instead of the vehicle entry, it can be possible to create a rickshaw stand and make them do the business, for those who want to roam with it.

Beautiful ancient palace. When you are here, make sure to try the local favourite yogurt ice-cream at a small grocery store ( You will see a big line) behind the temple. I personally didn't like the ice-cream due to the strong spices flavour 😅

It's a nice place to hang out with friends. The place is beautiful with a lot of historical monuments. There are a lot of restaurants and places to eat and shop around. You can also find Jujudhou around. It's a great place for tourists to visit especially those who are interested in cultural and historical things.

A fantastic place! There was so much hustle and bustle, different temples, places to eat, markets and more. It was such a fantastic part of our trip and gave us a real insight into the Nepalese culture.
