Our Story

Over the past 17 years, we have had the pleasure of guiding thousands of happy travelers on trekking, hiking, cultural tours, rafting, jungle safari and many other trips all over Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and India. We have always believed that an active trip can make the difference between ‘visiting’ versus really ‘experiencing’ a place. We are determined that our trips should not be your average adventure tour package, but something more special. The High Himalayan Trekking team has been portering, trekking and guiding tourists from all around the world since 1998, taking in the magnificent Himalayas of Nepal, Tibet, India and Bhutan. We offer all traditional activities like cultural & adventure tours, trekking, peak climbing, water rafting, jungle safari, etc. whilst also offering clients’ special interest tours like yoga treks, cultural treks, spiritual treks, musical treks, snow leopard and blue sheep treks, honey cultivation tours, village tours, meditation tours, shamanism tours, and cave tours. We believe in sustainable tourism, by giving local people the education and capacity to engage in environmental preservation, community based tourism, and community development. We are highly devoted to our country, by donating 10% of our companys profits to our sister charity organization High Himalayan Community Projects Nepal, an NGO that provides education, healthcare, micro savings, income generation, and emergency disaster relief to some of the most vulnerable communities in Nepal.
