I just returned from 21 days in Nepal. My husband and 2 friends were there to hike the Manaslu Trek with NEST Adventure. It was a fantastic experience that I will never forget. We had great communications with Raj, the owner, before we left the country.Raj was friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring about every detailed question we had, since we had never been to Nepal. We met our guide Netra, and manager Shova, in Kathmandu and they helped us with gear and trekking info. Netra was kind, humorous and fun. He was an experienced guide and knew historical context about the many villages we trekked through and stayed in as we ascended to the 17,000' pass of Larke La. The trek was planned so that we had many days to acclimate. Netra and our porters, Ram and Vishnu, counseled us to hike slowly, drink plenty of water and rest. And because of all this, we did not have problems with the altitude. The mountains, the Nepali and Tibetan people, the animals, the other international trekkers, the vistas, the rodedendrums - put all together, this was one of the best treks I have ever had. If you like adventure, challenge and learning, you should take this trip! You won't be disappointed.

Would recommend 10/10 having done the Langtang trek before with another company and then the Manaslu Circuit with NEST in March 2022. N.B. I am not affiliated with any business or guide, just a traveller looking to help others with a big decision. Our guides, Kunchan and Heri, were brilliant. With the pandemic's slashing effect on guide work still sadly ongoing we were lucky enough to trek with two guides rather than the traditional and expected guide/porter team. This meant we benefitted from two excellent sources of knowledge, keeping us well informed and safe, and explaining for us the Nepali and Tibetan culture we were immersed in along the way. Both are great organisers, optimizing the trek and side trips along the way; are chatty companions and always equally up for a card game or lengthy discussion; and the least of their abilities is that they are both fluent in English. I'd recommend either or both of Kunchan and Heri every time. NEST is a family business run by Raj. Raj gets it - he's managing to combine the personal touch of family with modern marketing and his business will certainly challenge the status quo in Thamel or the western 'middle men' companies. I chose NEST when I read their blogs and watched their videos - these are great as not simply a 'what you'll see on the trek description'. No instead they understand what a would-be trekker needs to know, so go check that out. Raj solidified my decision by arranging a WhatsApp call where we fine tuned exactly what my group wanted with local knowledge into a workable trek. These are good people helping Nepal recover from the 2015 earthquake, 2020's COVID, and now the post pandemic fear of travel. Consider NEST, check out their helpful content, and get trekking in arguably the most beautiful country in the world.

I highly recommend Nest Adventure. Four of us went on the 14 day. From the start, Shova and Raj communicated the details well and were always available to answer any questions. Our guide, Netra and the porters, Vishnu and Ram were fantastic. He knew all the tea houses and many of the the owners and set us up with the best rooms and talked about the history of the area. We made it up and over the beautiful Larke La pass. What I most liked about this trek is that you slowly acclimated the days before going over the pass and for me the Diomox did help with the headaches. A private jeep ride took us to and from the trailhead. This was a trip of a lifetime with no complaints.

I went on a two-week trek on the Manaslu circuit in April of 2015. For a very reasonable price, (and I'm a budget traveler) Pramod at NEST handled all of the permits, itinerary, and transportation, as well as supplied a great and funny guide, Prakash. Manaslu is a little less traveled than Annapurna, which was what our group wanted. NEST even helped arrange some needed gear for the trip. Our group had a wonderful time and it was a beautiful trek. When the earthquake hit on the 25th, we all stayed safe thanks to our guide. It was all handled very well. I would definitely go on a trek with NEST again. And if there were ever a time to go on a trek through Nepal, it's post-earthquake. Many Nepalese people rely on on direct and indirect income from the trekking tourism industry, and they need help now more than ever before. I strongly recommend going trekking and going with NEST Summit Treks.
