Basundhara Park, Pokhara

One of the best place to spend time with your friends, family and kids. The view of lake is beautiful and the place is not much crowded which makes the experience more enjoyable. If you want you can also hire boats from nearby place. At evenings, you might see bats from the forest across the lake.

Peaceful place.. good walking track and calmness of lake. You can take pedal boats at 1000 Nepalese rupee and evening by 5 you start you can go in that so that you can watch blissful aarthi..very nice to watch near lake.

Unfortunately the facilities aren’t great at this park. Good for quiet stroll. Free entrance Many locals chilling and few benches by the lakeside. Constant construction in the area and missing shade doesn’t make this place a great place for picnic during hot weather and seeking peacefulness.

It was my first time here. But loved this place. You don't need any entry fee to enter here. Everywhere is greenery. And when you reach the lake side part of this park, you will have best view of Phewa lake from this point. I would prefer everyone to go in this place if you are near Pokhara.

It is park with big potential because of its beautiful location near lake and very close to main tourist street in Pokhara. Basundhara Park in Pokhara attracts tourists all through the year because of its amazing location close to the surreal lake and one of the main tourist streets. This is a peaceful park right next to the lake, ideal for an early morning walk or run. You can also rent boats near the entrance. Great park by the bank of Fewa lake and Pokhara lake side area. Good for juggling, relaxing, hanging out and light picnic. The park is mainly visited by the locals and tourists to enjoy boating tours and fishing activities in the middle of the serene and peaceful ambiance. Tourists can also rent solo boats and take a tour of the lake.
