Peace Temple, Pokhara

We took a small boat to cross the lake which got us to the bottom of the hill on top of which the pagoda seats. There is a long staircase going up through the forest, a very nice path to take although it can be slippery when wet. From the top you're supposed to have a great view of the mountains around, unfortunately it was cloudy when we went so we didn't see much but the view of Pokhara and the lake was nice. We went to a restaurant next to the pagoda for lunch and that was lovely. Must be even better with a clear view!

Very peaceful place with stunning views of the city. There are only couple of similar Pagodas in Nepal so its a must see when visiting Pokhara. There are quiet few steps to make, takes about 10 min to get from parking. Few souvenir shops and cafes on the way

The place is very beautiful and peaceful! There are notice boards saying "please keep quiet" and "no shouting" and no videos etc but the people were all doing that opposite. There were a lot of people and the noice level was extreme. You need to take off your shoes at the pagoda! I wish people would be more considerate while visiting such places!

This is a pagoda situated within the city limits of Pokhara. The area is very calm and silent. You have to climb about 10 to 20 minutes worth of stairs... Once you are on top the view of the Pokhara Valley is just amazing....

Amazing and peaceful place. Went there in afternoon by climbing ~300 stairs and view was worth it. It will be a perfect place to watch sun rise or sunset if weather is clear
