  • A bit of a climb from Namche Bazaar but well worth it. Sit on the balcony with a cup of tea and soak in the views, Everest is a long way off but easy to see.

  • Wonderful view of Everest if clear. There is no real marking here letting you know to look for Everest. Best chance is early morning, but you might get lucky other times.
  • Let the magic of the journey sink in as you see your first real view of Everest of the Trek. Enjoy it. Try to find it. Hint... It's behind the sign
  • This is just a resting place while hiking upward to Namche Bazar from phakding. Everest view from here isn't very clear as it's blocked by woods. On my way back, spotted a mountain goat grazing in the slopes, couldn't get any clean shot on camera as it was behind the bush. Some useful info such as elevation & details about flora n fauna in this region is written on the board there.
  • A great place to stop on your way up. Thankfully I had some clear skies on my way down but if its cloudy, don't plan on seeing much. There are bathrooms here as well.
  • Nice place to visit on our way to Everest Base Camp
