Jimmy’s Classic Marlborough wine tours, Blenheim

The private tour with Jimmy was above and beyond the highlight of our Blenheim trip. Visited several small organic wineries, each with a unique and fascinating story and amazing wines to taste. Thanks Jimmy for the great trip, we will be booking in again on our next visit for sure!

My husband and I did a wine tour with Jim while visiting New Zealand from the US, and we loved every moment of it. Jim was knowledgeable of the wine region, selected a fantastic variety of vineyards (large and small) and was a great host along the way. We would without a doubt do another wine tour with Jim next time we are in town, and highly recommend him to friends and family.

We had the most wonderful day with jimmy, not only tasting incredible Marlborough wines at vineyards Jim had handpicked for us, but chatting with wine makers in such a real and personal way, that gave us an incredible understanding of the wine making process . We felt like we had been on an incredible educational tour as well as so relaxed and made comfortable. Jimmy booked us into a lovely restaurant for lunch that we thoroughly enjoyed. 10/10!

Myself and Alicia had a fabulous wine tour with Jim. Trying some lovely Marlborough Sauvignons and getting converted into Chardonnay drinkers too. A wonderful and intimate curated tour of some of the best and smaller family run wineries in the region. Would highly recommend everyone to book with Jimmy.

We had a fantastic tour with Jim, upon booking he made contact via email straight away and asked us about what kind of wine we were interested in. We are red wine drinkers and Jim took us to some fantastic wineries including Hans Herzog Estate, Clos Henri Vineyard, FROMM winery and Cloudy Bay. Jim is very knowledgeable, has great rapport with the wineries and is great company to have with you during the day. The car is super comfortable and Jim will pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation - even if you are staying out of the town like we were. All in all just a great day out, next time we are in Blenheim we will definitely be booking another day out with Jim. Thank you :-D - ps hanging out for that Grandezza from Hans Herzog, that was our stand out favourite.
