Dawson Falls is an impressive 18m drop, readily accessible from the NP Visitor Centre - and well worth the 10-minute walk, mainly along the road. The track to the base of the falls from the viewpoint.... more

Great short walk. Quite wet after rain. Stunning waterfall. If you’re going out there then definitely do Wilkies Pools as well. It’s a great short walk with amazing scenery.

We explored the Mt Taranaki region and visited both the main visiting sites. We liked this part the best. The walk to Dawson falls is signed posted as one hour, but we walked the round trip in 40.... more
