Nelson Classic Car Museum, Nelson

This has been the best motor collection I have been to in NZ. So generous of the owner to pull this together. A member of staff who was painting a superb life size poster was brilliant in giving some of the background info on vehicles and was so positive about his Subject. Very good coffee at the Cafe too!

The NCCM was a wonderful experience! They have so many fantastic cars that you don't want to miss! This is a must-see if you are in Nelson or just passing through. The staff is helpful and super nice along with being knowledgeable on the cars! It's also a very kid-friendly place too!

Really impressed, much bigger and more comprehensive than I expected. Remember to visit the second building as well, I nearly forgot. Really great way to spend a morning. The cafe is really top notch and very busy.

I loved my time at Nelson Classic Car Museum today! What a brilliant find and what a valuable asset it is for Nelson! I loved the overall layout and displays and I enjoyed reading the labels too, all of which were very informative and interesting. My favourite cars on display were the 1951 Super Eight Buick, the 1971 Volvo, the 1959 Cadillac Coup de Ville and the 1959 FC Special Holden. The Museum makes you feel as though you are on a film set and the whole experience makes you feel happy and nostalgic. When I was looking at some of the oldest cars, I thought of Downton Abbey, while the cars from the '50s and '60s reminded me of moments straight from Mad Men. All of the cars are so clean and well looked after and I appreciated the opportunity to look inside many of them. I will definitely come back here and thank you so much for this special experience!

Absolutely outstanding display all in presten condition. All vehicles are well looked after and displayed in a way that all can be viewed and enjoyed. A special mention to the staff that are very helpful and welcoming.
